Hi! Im Tanya, the author of Eat Wild My Child. EWMC is about eating food that is as close as possible to how nature created it. I’m passionate about food that tastes good and is REAL. I’ve been reading cooking blogs, collecting cookbooks, and composing recipes as long as I can remember.
I am currently studying at the Canadian School Of Natural Nutrition to become a Holistic Nutrition Professional. I am an eternal optimist, a leo and a mother of two boys (3 and 5) and 1 dog. I love cooking, being active, and going on impromptu or overly ambitious adventures with my family.
ABOUT MY FOOD
The recipes I curate are 99% vegan (occasionally I will use organic, pasture-raised eggs in my meals/baking, as I believe they are a perfect food), and 100% dairy-free, gluten-free, and refined-sugar free. Around 90% of the ingredients I use are organic. I’m a big supporter of local food. I source from farms, farm markets and my home garden. Local food is fresher and fresh food contains more nutrients. It is also easier on the environment and tastes better. WIN WIN WIN.
